Maryland Senatorial Scholarship (via Maryland Higher Education Commission

Covers students at private career schools in Maryland pursuing a post-secondary credential.Must be a Maryland resident; applies to private career schools as well as 2-year/4-year institutions.

Maryland Workforce Development Sequence Scholarship

Designed for certificate / non-credit programs (job skills / licensure) — relevant for vocational training like nail technician programs. Must be a Maryland resident or MD high-school graduate; award capped (e.g., up to ~$2,000) per sequence.

General Maryland state grants & scholarship

 For other programs your students might qualify for (including trade/skills programs) via MHEC.

Cosmetology- / career school-specific scholarships

(national/institutional)While not strictly Maryland-state programs, these may also help your students and can be advertised alongside the state ones for full support. AACS -+1

Edward T. and Mary A. Conroy Memorial Scholarship

Helps Maryland residents who are military members, public safety workers (like firefighters, police officers), or their family members.

It gives money for tuition and fees at approved Maryland schools.

 

Jean B. Cryor Memorial Scholarship

Helps children or surviving spouses of Maryland school employees who were killed or permanently disabled by violence on the job.

Also gives financial help for school costs.
